*Commissons* Heirloom Cyanotypes

$255.00 USD

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

I begin with your image, a silhouette, a face, a moment.
Maybe it’s your home or family, a beloved pet, or even a document or floor plan you’d like to preserve and reimagine in blue and white.

You send me your image, and I reinterpret it through light, water, and reclaimed or vintage fabric.

Choosing the fabric begins as a conversation.
Do you prefer cotton, silk, or linen?
Do you want something that feels antique or modern?
I source the material, and we collaborate through email, text, FaceTime, or Zoom.
Let's make something magical together!

Each piece becomes a living heirloom, a collaboration between memory and nature.
The fabric carries its own story, and I only reveal it through the process of cyanotype, collage, and care.

These works are made to be treasured, passed on, or continued.
You may choose to add embroidery, begin a quilt, or keep adding to it over time.

Not every image is ideal for the cyanotype process, but that’s part of the beauty, finding what translates best through light and shadow. We’ll explore your options together until the right balance appears.

Who is this for?
Anyone drawn to the look and process of cyanotype.
It might be a personal commission for yourself, a custom piece for an interior design client, or maybe YOU are an artist who has always wanted to experiment with this process but time has created limitations?

Think of me as the vessel through which this heirloom can emerge!
I’ve been creating cyanotypes since 2001 and continue to be fascinated by layering, texture, density, and the organic shapes that appear through chance and care.

Sizes are determined by fabric sourced. We can discuss dimensions during our initial conversation. Please navigate to the menu on the left and fill out the form for commissions after you've placed your order so you can send me your image and ideas and we can begin!

Use the dropdown menu to choose your size. Each item is unique (unless you prefer to source your own traditional yardage)
